Faith, Football
& Real Life.
Onside Faith is for young people who want to explore Christianity alongside their football, mentoring and everyday life. Take part whether you already believe, are unsure, or are simply curious.

Get The Playbook
A free 8-session workbook connecting football, faith and real life — for players aged 9–16. Print it, fill it in, and work through it on your own, with family, or with your group.

Get The Squad
The second free workbook in the series — 8 sessions meeting Ruth, Jonathan, Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Jonah, Joseph and Esther, connecting their stories with real life. For players aged 9–16.

Get the Leaders' Manual
The core guide to running Onside Plus with a group — how to lead a session, handle harder conversations, and keep young people safe. For coaches, mentors and partner groups.
One Onside journey
Football gives us a place to meet, play and build relationships. Mentoring creates space to think about who we are becoming. Onside Faith offers an optional way to explore Christianity, purpose and the bigger questions of life.
Football
Play, belong and build relationships through local Onside sessions.
Mentoring
Develop confidence, character and a clearer sense of purpose.
Faith
Explore Christianity honestly and decide what you believe.
You do not need to be a Christian to take part in Onside. The faith pathway is available for anyone who wants to explore it.
The Onside journey

This week on Onside Faith
One thing to do this week
Think of one small thing you can put right this week. You do not need to tell the website what it is.
How it works
No pressure, no rush. Just a simple rhythm you can follow at your own pace.
Discover
Watch, read or listen for a few minutes.
Think
Consider one honest question privately.
Try
Put one practical idea into action.
Connect
Join a conversation, event or local Onside activity.
Think it through
Take a moment to consider the question. You can talk about it with the Onside Chaplain, another Onside leader or an adult you trust. If you prefer, write your thoughts in your own notebook or Onside workbook. Nothing you think or write is collected by this website.
Connected to your local Onside community
Onside Faith is connected to real football sessions, mentoring, events, trips and trusted leaders. The digital pathway is here to support what happens in person — not to replace it.

Nothing you write is collected
Onside Faith does not collect or store private reflections, prayers or journal entries. You can think about the questions, discuss them with somebody you trust or write privately in your own notebook.
Speak to someone
If you want to talk about faith or something happening in your life, speak to the Onside Chaplain, another Onside leader or an adult you trust.
Safeguarding comes first
If something is worrying you, you feel unsafe, or you think somebody may be in danger, please speak to a trusted adult or an Onside leader. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
Faith and professional support
Faith can be an important source of hope and support, but it does not replace professional help when somebody is struggling.
